What are cheerleader pom poms made of?
Most pom poms are made from plastic (PVC or PET), metallic (mylar), or a mix of both. Plastic poms are lightweight and durable, while metallic, holographic, and iridescent poms add shimmer and flash under lights.
How many pom poms does each cheerleader need?
Typically, two pom poms per cheerleader - one for each hand. Some routines or sideline cheers may use just one, but two is the standard.
How should I clean my iridescent poms?
1. Gently shake out debris and re-fluff after multiple uses. 2. Use a damp microfiber cloth or soft towel with cold water to gently wipe down dirty streamers or handles. 3.
