Are large pom poms better than small ones?

Typically, pom strand length is determined by age. Younger cheerleaders find it easier to control four or five-inch poms, while youth and teen teams do best with five or six-inch poms. Adult teams usually carry seven to eight-inch poms. However, you will find some longer styles that offer strands up to 12” in length.
